The Design overview contains Meta, Tenets, Anchors, Crates, and RFDs. Meta specifies the specification system itself. Tenets explains design principles without defining specification anchors. Anchors is generated from all active specification rules. Crates combines a handwritten reading map and modeled crate chapters. RFDs record changes and reasoning without defining active rules. The User’s Guide provides non-normative usage instructions.

Review: Accepted · Codex /root/anchor_094.

Fresh final followup review of source_roles. Saved/read the previous complete assessment and inputs, started fresh and recaptured all ten dependencies. Initial claim, spec_plan.rs and the TODO test are unchanged. The two spec.rs helper ranges moved by one line after a preceding association marker; I located their previously intended contents and verified exact equality at 624-632 and 705-760. Every other captured dependency is unchanged. No role, validation or generation semantics changed.

The full claim assigns the Design overview its Meta/Tenets/Anchors/Crates/RFD branches, Meta the specification-system role, Tenets principles without anchors, Anchors generated active rules, Crates handwritten map plus modeled chapters, RFDs change rationale without active rules, and the guide nonnormative usage instructions. Current captured Design overview and SUMMARY explicitly contain the branches and separate guide and explain these roles. The Crates landing has its handwritten reading map to modeled sources; guide landing links usage workflows; RFD guidance assigns motivation/alternatives/planning there and normative changes to Design.

Captured normative filtering allows Design definitions with explicit exclusions for Tenets, RFD/research and generated anchor views; external RFD/guide paths are outside the defining boundary. Nonnormative loading collects references without invoking definition insertion, while Markdown and Sage normative sources share insertion. Captured anchor generation uses active SpecIndex names. These source/docs facts support the intended separation, but do not complete the registered combined structure/authority/rendering verification.

The sole implementation and test entries remain the explicit TODO region/function book_sections_have_distinct_roles. Its body has no assertions and defers introductory/normative/RFD distinctions and prevention of outside-Design references creating definitions. No ordinary or N/A evidence is registered. The additionally recaptured canonical_inventory_uses_configured_chapters_and_local_names test is supporting evidence only: actual BookFixture loading excludes marker-like Tenets/RFD definitions and requires exactly the Meta rule keys, namespace/context and count without diagnostics. It does not prove the actual overview/guide composition, all generated anchors or mixed Crates rendering and is not substituted for the TODO.

Completion still requires a configured integration fixture containing all named roles, normative definitions and nonnormative references, a known active-rule set and modeled crate chapters. Assertions must cover overview composition, nonnormative exclusion with reference retention, complete generated Anchors and preserved handwritten Crates map with model children. Existing documentation and shared pipeline foundations make this feasible but do not turn the empty test into conformance proof. The explicit deferral remains justified and visible.

All claim aspects were considered against the prior full assessment; the actual delta is only positional movement of unchanged helpers from the association marker. No source edits, builds, rendering or test runs occurred; fresh review commands and source inspection only. No requested edits.

Every specification anchor has a stable page identifying the rule and showing its definition, context, implementation entries, and tests/evidence. The page includes Rust excerpts and access to surrounding source, and exposes each entry’s placeholder status and explanation. Multiple sites remain individually inspectable rather than being reduced to a single coverage badge.
